sailing to san blas--- next tour:PANAMA>CARTAGENA 9th june

left providencia this noon under full sails and heading for san blas islands in
panama. the wind is about 15knots and so we proceed with 5 knots. we
had a great time on providencia climbing the peak, snorkeling and scuba diving
and now looking forward to the paradise of guna yala

since sunday afternoon we are in providencia anchored in front of santa catalina
guarded by the 100ds years old canons of captain morgan.....PROVIDENCIA IS
BEAUTIFULL

sailint to PROVIDENCIA>PANAMA>CARTAGENA

after a one night stoppover in the lighthousereef in belize we continued our
voyage and pased by closely by guanaja island in honduras and we are now just
passing by the cabo gracias a dios and heading directly to providencia wich we
should reach tomorrow by 4pm
the wind is not much but from straight ahead so we are motoring and no sails are
set...a shame...but the itinerary!!!
we just caught a big mackerel and a bonito for the dinner and we all wish the
sun to come back out because its a grey cloudy day and it reains all over the
nights.

halmoos cay/lighthousereef/belize....next >PROVIDENCIA>PANAMA>CARTAGENA

we left isla mujeres on the 14th may noon time and sailed southwards....had to
use engine for a couple of hours because of no wind but also sailed tonight and
this morning with over 10 knots....at noon we dropped anchor in
lighthousereef/belize as we have to wait for better winds to go on to cabo
gracias a dios and providencia....we will arrive there later as planned instead
of 18th may it will be 23rd or 24th may because of the current winds.

ISLA MUJERES/ MEXICO....next >PROVIDENCIA>PANAMA>CARTAGENA

we arrived to isla mujeres yesterday sunday at 11am and we got a spot on a pier
in enrique limas marina. isla mujeres and cancun is the ugliest place in all the
carribbean.....and after cuba its terrible culture shock to be here!

a 160 miles left to isla mujeres but the wind is very low just 10knots from the
back wich gives us a little less then 3 knots of speed but its easy going and
the weather is nice and sunny....will be arriving to isla mujeres after tomorrow
6th may in the morning

sailing to MEXICO....then >PROVIDENCIA>PANAMA>CARTAGENA

we left cienfuegos/cuba yesterday after 21 days. we left roli and his frankie
back in cuba...they try to get a ride on a ukranian cargoship to ukrania. we are
under sails going westwards to isla mujeres in mexico and we are 7 souls on
board...everything is pritty:) will be arriving in isla mujeres the 6th may in
the morning!

in CIENFUEGOS/ CUBA next >MEXICO>PROVIDENCIA>PANAMA>CARTAGENA

since wednesday11 we are in cienfuegos / cuba and the motorcycles are legal since yesterday and so everybody left the ship except finn and me. the anchorwinch - motor which broke in cienfuegos is in repair and we are doing little maintenance works here and some tours with motorcycle in cuba.... maybe we will sail down to jardines de la reina for a couple of days next week if there is people interested to go!?!?!

ON TOUR to CUBA>MEXICO0>PROVIDENCIA>>PANAMA

since 12 hours under engine as the wind completely calmed down. we did a
stoppover this afternoon in the deep blue sea for a swimming and now we are just
before passing by the westtip of jamaica hoping to catch any winds from there to
cienfuegos.

we are sailing with 8 knots speed towards cienfuegos. half of the crew is a bit seasick but everything is well on board and the weather is perfect and the predictions are good as well.
